Courses focused on culture + communities

Latino Studies courses introduce students to the nation’s growing and diverse Latinx populations, with a focus on the experiences of Latinx people in the United States. Whether in art and performance; history, politics, and sociology; or literature, music, and culture, our courses illustrate how Latinxs define themselves in the twenty-first century, and in turn, how our changing nation works.

We offer multiple cross-listed courses with the Department of Spanish and Portuguese that are eligible to be included for credit in your Latino Studies minor.

Courses are subject to change and not offered each semester. Check with tools like iGPS, and the Registrar’s Office, or contact our advisor to find the most up-to-date course information.
