The Latino Studies Program’s Undergraduate Symposium is a biannual event that supports original undergraduate research in Latino Studies. Students pair up with a faculty mentor in the fall and work on a research project that will be presented at the symposium each spring.
This year's symposium — themed, “Migration, Borderlands, and Activism” — will be held on April 2 and April 3. This focus will allow participants to reflect on how the conception of borders has had a profound impact on the formation of the nation as part of the College of Arts and Sciences Celebration of the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States.
